I began teaching as a part-time faculty member at North Central in 2010, teaching a variety of 市场营销 related courses including 市场营销 管理, 消费者的行为, Promotional Strategy, International Business, 销售管理, and 市场营销 Research. In 2014, I was fortunate to be named an Adjunct Assistant Professor of 市场营销.
教学前, I worked for 34 years in the Advertising Agency business, both in New York and Chicago, serving in Account 管理 at two of the largest Communications firms in the business: Benton & Bowles (7 years), then DDB (27 years) . I served many national clients over the years including General Mills, P&G, Marriott Hotels, Blistex, Hasbro Toys and Hardees. My longest client relationships were with State Farm and Morton Salt, where I served as SRVP, Group Account Director.
After graduating from Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Indiana with a BA in Political Science, I served 6 years as an officer in the US Navy, spending most of my time in Newport RI, and the Panama Canal Zone. 海军之后, I earned my MBA from Indiana University, then began my Advertising career in New York, 哪一个, 正如我提到的, lasted for 34+ years.
I live in Naperville, Illinois and have two wonderful children, (one of whom graduated from North Central), plus 4 terrific grandchildren.
